Commander who led 100 warships against the pirate bases on Tsushima in 1389

Under King Chang, as commander for Gyeongsang, he attacked Tsushima, burned some 300 pirate ships and brought back captured Goryeo people. He took part in the Wihwado Retreat with Yi Seong-gye and continued in office after the founding of Joseon. His expedition came thirty years before Yi Jong-mu’s Tsushima campaign under Sejong of Joseon.
