Park Je-sun
Foreign minister who signed the 1905 treaty, one of the Five Eulsa Traitors
In 1899 he signed the Korea–Qing commercial treaty, the first concluded between the two countries as equals. As foreign minister in 1905 he signed the Eulsa Treaty with the Japanese minister Hayashi Gonsuke, stripping Korea of its diplomatic rights and bringing in the Residency-General. He then became prime minister, and as home minister in 1910 he backed the annexation, for which he received a Japanese peerage.
