Sadaham

Silla hwarang who was first through the gate in the conquest of Daegaya in 562

Of true-bone rank, he is said to have had a thousand followers. At fifteen or sixteen he begged to join the Daegaya campaign and served as a deputy commander; he freed the 300 captives he was awarded and declined a grant of good land. The Samguk sagi says that when his sworn friend Mugwallang died, he grieved and died seven days later, aged seventeen.
